Two Piece Puzzle Explained

The night after the last Two Piece Puzzle dream, I had another vision, a very remarkable one which I plan to tell you about tomorrow.  It gave me some insight about the Two-Piece Puzzle and a possible explanation for that mystery that I’ll mention now.  The short answer – the coming of Christ released the Holy Spirt on the comman man – you and I.  The Holy Spirt in the Old Testament was bestowed only on special men, and was sometimes withdrawn later.  Christ promised a Counselor – Holy Spirt that would dwell in us always.   Without that Yule Door – the birth of Christ, we would not have the Holy Spirit.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever– the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  John 14:16-17 (NIV)

First consider:

The Holy Spirit through the ages:

The Holy Spirit was there at creation:

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  Gen. 1:2 (NIV)

He became angry with men and limited their life span:

Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.”  Gen. 6:3 (NIV)

He filled only chosen men with the Spirit, the “super stars” in the Old Testament:

So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power.  1 Sam 16:13 (NIV)

The Holy Spirit was often withdrawn from those men:

Now the Spirit of the LORD had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD tormented him.  1 Sam 16:14 (NIV)

We had souls and bodies, but the Holy Spirit was not in man as a permanent resident.

 Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”   Luke 1:35 (NIV)

The birth of Jesus changed all of that and erased the death of man lost by Adam’s sin.   Jesus’ birth was the beginning of our gift of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus promised to send a Counselor, the Holy Spirit, to man:

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever– the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  John 14:16-17 (NIV)

The Holy Spirit returned to man as a permanent resident – a Christmas present from God, when He opened the Yule Door for us with Jesus birth.

Jesus explained the function of the Holy Spirit on the night before his arrest and death:

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:  in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me;  in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;  and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.  But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.  All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.  John 16:7-15 (NIV)

Jesus sent the Spirit to his disciples at Pentecost:

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.  Acts 2:1-4 (NIV)

Jesus made the Holy Spirit available to all believers today:

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;  you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.  1 Cor. 6:19-20 (NIV)

It is the Holy Spirit of God that enlightens us even today:

However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”–  but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.  1 Cor. 2:9-12 (NIV)

The scripture tells us that The Holy Spirit was revealed to us as Jesus in the flesh, beginning with his birth.   Jesus’ birth is our Yule Door connection to the Holy Spirit who lives with us today.

The details of this most remarkable vision that provided the insight needed to solve the Two-Piece Puzzle will begin with the next post in this series on visions.  These are all true experiences of one ordinary person – me.  The vision, although not addressing the puzzle directly gave me that “Ah Ha” moment, then went far beyond the puzzle, and gave me my first glimpse of Jesus and a special insight on what He looked like to men who have seen Him throughout the ages.

There is no biblical description of Jesus.  I think the lack of information about what He looks like is no coincidence, as you will see.

  1. Way to Heaven: Rely to “Heaven’s Ticket”:
    The only certainty about Heaven is thru the Bible, God’s infalible Word. {Mark 13:31}:
    1: Jesus knocks – if we open, He enters.{ Revelation 3:20 }
    2: To all who receive Him – per {1} above – He gives the right to be God’s children. { John 1: 11 – 13 }
    3: Only God can draw us to Jesus, i.e. ” Oldtimer”, God has already drawn you & Jesus will never reject anyone, drawn by God. { John 6:44 }
    4: Everyone who ” has the Son, has Eternal Life… ” : Those who don’t, remain under God’s wrath, for having rejected the only One, thru Whom we can enter Heaven. { John 3:36 }
    5: Nobody can condemn those God has chosen: In fact, Jesus, Who has died for us, intercedes for us. As in the Old Testament, only those in Noah’s Ark were safe against God’s Judgement, so only those in the ” Ark ” of God’s Salvation in the New Testament, Jesus, will be safe against God’s final Judgement. { Romans 8:1, 33, 34 }
    6: But, you must believe God’s Promise! Not to believe God’s Promise, makes Him a liar! A prayer in unbelief, is a request for refusal! { Hebrews !!:6 & James 1:5-8 }
    7: God’s forgives confessed sin. { 1 John 2:1&2 }

    Baptism in the Holy Spirit is discussed in Acts & 1 Corionthians 11 & 14.
    Tongues are for:
    a] Communicating with the unsaved, in a language understood by the hearers, but unknown to the speaker.

    c] As a Supernatural Means of communicating with God.
    d] In the Church, when accompanied by the other Gift of the Holy Spirit, Interpretation, to build up the Christians, Spiritually.

  2. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

    (1) Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,

    مَلِكِ النَّاسِ

    (2) The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,

    إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ

    (3) The god (or judge) of Mankind,-

    مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ

    (4) From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-

    الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ

    (5) (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-

    مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

    that’s how you can protect yourself from evil, the holy spirit taught it to me. Believe it or no, it’s your business.
